Flushable Diapers Liners

flushable+diapers+liners
Will I need liners for cloth diapers for the first few months, since the baby won’t be on solid foods yet?

I’m planning to use cloth diapers with flushable diaper liners for my new baby. My husband and other relatives are skeptical about cloth diapering, so I’m trying to make things easier but I’m also trying to cut down on costs. I’m wondering if I will even really need to use liners for the first months, since the baby will be on formula and no solids (of course).

I’ve used cloth diapers on my baby since birth, we use Happy Heinies one size pocket diapers and they’ve been great, really easy to care for and only do a couple of extra loads of washing a week (I have around 30 diapers). I breast feed so his poop simply washes off in the machine so we’ve not needed to worry about liners yet – this may change once I start him on solids in a months time though!! If you plan on formula feeding this may be different since it digests a little differently.
