Is it a law to dump a dirty poopy diaper in the trash?
I belong to a cloth diaper sewing group and there’s a lady that mentioned there’s a law and you can’t dump a dirty poopy diaper in a public trash can. She said you can be fined unless the poop is flushed down the toilet first. Is this true? If so where, what country/state or province? Thanks in advance.
What do people do when they use disposable diapers. I NEVER dump poop in a trash can for I carry my sons dirtry diapers in a wetbag to take home and clean properly. So what about ALL the DAYCARES out there that place there children’s disposable diapers in a trash pail and it goes into the dumpster. I worked daycare for 10 years and have a Child Dev Degree and NEVER heard of such a thing. ???
It is against the law in the US to poop in a trash can, so I would imagine dumping a poopy diaper in the trash would be against the law also. I would imagine it would be considered improper disposal of biowaste. It would expose the public to possible dangerous bacteria in the poop. I would actually imagine it would be ok to put the poop in a bag first and then throw it away (like for a pet) but I am not sure about that.
